Voter Pre-Registration Deadline

You can stop in at the Auditor's office between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM (Mon - Friday) to register until  Monday, October 23, 2023.  After this date you may register and vote in the Auditor's Office until November 6th or vote at the polls on November 7th.

Ballot Question

“Shall the County of Webster, State of Iowa, issue its General Obligation Bonds or General Obligation Capital Loan Notes in an amount not exceeding the amount of $45,500,000 for the purpose of designing, constructing, equipping and furnishing a new Webster County Jail and Sheriff’s Office, including the acquisition of land, therefore, and all necessary site improvements?”

Locations

All 17 voting precincts will be open from 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM and you must vote in the precinct in which you live. Reminder: Voter ID is required.

Absentee Vote

• October 23, 2023 - Last day to request an absentee ballot to be mailed (open until 5:00 PM)

• November 6, 2023 - Last day to vote in-person absentee ballot in the auditor's office (open until 4:30 PM)

• November 7, 2023 - Requested absentee ballots must be received in auditors office by 8:00 PM
